Our Team

Blake Robertson

Co-founder & CEO
Blake's mother once told him that her favorite moments caregiving for her father were in the doctor's office waiting room—because it was the only time she could just sit with him and feel like a daughter again, not just a caregiver. This insight sparked Blake's mission to create more of these moments for families everywhere. After earning his MPH in Healthcare Management from Yale School of Public Health and studying Human Development with a focus on Gerontology at Cornell, Blake gained hands-on experience providing psychological services to veterans with PTSD and addiction, and conducting research with homeless populations. His work at Cornell's Institute for Translational Research on Aging and previous experience co-founding a holistic health company deepened his understanding of both healthcare systems and the human experience of navigating care. Today, as Co-founder and CEO of Upkeep Care, Blake combines this personal passion with academic expertise and real-world experience to build AI technology that returns dignity and time to those seeking care.

His experience at Future Health deepened his expertise in healthcare technology and regulatory compliance. Andrew discovered his passion for using technology to solve meaningful problems through personal experiences navigating complex systems, and now dedicates his full technical leadership to ensuring Upkeep's platform can truly help those who need it most.

Wendy Jiang

Head of Partnerships

As an Associate Research Fellow at Yale Law School specializing in elder law and palliative care, and through her policy work with Connecticut's Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, and Opportunity, Wendy has seen firsthand the gaps between policy and practice in social care systems. Her research experience across health policy, senior care, and food safety regulations has given her deep insight into the complex landscape that vulnerable populations must navigate. This expertise allows her to build meaningful partnerships with healthcare organizations and community agencies, ensuring Upkeep's platform truly serves those who need it most.
